From 1st April 2019 changes have taken place to the Private Health Insurance (PHI) so it may affect what you can claim for under "Physiotherapy" extra's for classes.
Physiotherapy Group Classes may be claimed under these item numbers if your health insurance provider allows it:
#500 (initial class consultation)
#561 (group exercise class)
#595 (antenatal class)
#596 (postnatal class)
Online AT HOME classes cannot be claimed under private health insurance however Telehealth private consultations can.
The following are for private consultations online via Telehealth:
#811 (initial TELEHEALTH at home)
#812 (standard TELEHEALTH at home)
All group physiotherapy reformer classes that are to be claimed need an Initial Assessment #500 first so PLEASE ARRIVE 10 minutes before class time as a NEW CLIENT.
Please check with your private health insurer what Physiotherapy exercise classes you are covered for.
